In September 23rd, Huayan public benefit stepped on the journey of its fifth year public service assistance program. After a 7 hours travel, we came to the first stop of this public benefit activity stop---Jian Cao Township Qunying primary school.

Located at the junction of Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces in the rural area of Xuyong County on Luzhou City, Jian Cao Township Qunying Primary School has over 200 students, most of whom are left-behind children.1-2 hours walk to school is a everday-task for them. Besides, they also lack of extracurricular readings.

At the news of we’ll establish a small library for them, the kids were lightened with a smile booming in their face, and their thirst for knowledge was beyond words. When we arranging the library, the children are happy to help us carrying the books in the middle of classes. Together with the students and teachers, we manage to established this little space of knowledge.  

Hopefully this library will become the place where children are most willing to stay. Hopefully this little space of knowledge can narrow the gap between the rural and urban children’s gap in reading quantity. Huayan Public Benefit Tour in 2019, we are continuing...
