2018 Huayan Public Benefit Activity Second Stop---Da Shui Tang Primary School

Has gone through 10 hours travel,on the morning of first day of November, Huayan public benefit activity team has came to the remote Da Shui Tang Primary School located in Zhaojue county of Liangshan Yi autonomous prefecture.

Benefited from government educational investment in remote area, the facilities here such as classroom build are much developed than in old days. Yet, this primary school of over 1000 students is still in lack of educational materials. Due to poor road condition, we have to use a smaller tractor repeatedly to convey the donated materials. Not to mention the students have to walk 4 hours everyday between home and school. As a reflection of short materials, the scenario of students playing badminton with used books as battledore and screwed waste paper as a ball are commonly seen here as well as having a meal directly at the floor. The students are very excited helping us to unload goods. Their little smiling eyes are twinkling the urge for knowledge. While waiting for the tractors, team played with the students playing game and badminton, which will surely turn into one of the most warm and touching memories of this early winter. 

After 3 hours of hard work, two small libraries have been set up. Huayan public benefit team is hoping the libraries can truly open up the window of outer world for the children in remote area. Let’s keep going.
