Huayan Group Public Welfare 2016---“Deliver of Love, Connect with Future ”

------Station Two：Ke La Township Central Primary School

      On the morning of the first day in November, we arrived Ke La township central primary school after 16 hours non-stop trip, kicking off the second station of Huayan welfare activity.

      4800 meters above the sea level, Ke La Township Central Primary School situated in the junction of Yajiang City of Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and Litang County. The central primary school have 6 classes at current present, covering 200 students from grade 1 to 3. The school owns poor traffic condition and very limited teaching facilities that students have to sit outdoor dining. These children need to travel 60-70 kilometers away from home for school at very young age from grade 1. Life is hard though, the children here are surprisingly disciplined and polite. They’d wait for lunch until everyone arrived and keep saying hello and thanks to us. We have learned that the kids will move to Yajiang County Primary School, where is 2-hours trip from here, for further education from grade 4. 

      We have brought thousands of books with us on this trip, established a “Sunshine Study” for the students, hoping that the students will learn from the books, grow up with knowledge and the capacity to challenge their fate, and eventually to help others in the same situation.
